If your tax ID cannot be verified on the IC Pro page, there will be an additional message explaining why.  Please note that the most common reasons for this are:

1. Tax ID has not been verified on any SASSIE system.  Your tax id must be VERIFIED (not pending) on at least one SASSIE system before it can be verified in IC Pro.  
2. There is a typo or other error on the page so that your legal name does not match.  Please note that extra spaces between your first and last name will cause it to not match.
3. You entered a business name on the IC Pro page, and your tax ID is registered to you as an individual and not to a business.  In this case, the Business Name must be left blank.

"Tax ID could not be verified -- SASSIE verification status is PENDING."

"No match found for that name/number combination. Check your SASSIE accounts for the name and verification status."

"Tax ID type is not correct -- please change and try again."
